The story goes that the first settlers of the city of Cancun, arrived by sea and landed on the shores of Puerto Juarez and although this small place did not have a growth as big as the city of Cancun, it is a place you have to know, enjoy and tour.
Why? Because Puerto Juarez is one of the few areas of the city of Cancun that still retains its charm of a fishing village, where the sea and local cuisine is mixed with the culture and from where you can take various tours to Isla Mujeres and much more.
Puerto Juarez Marine Terminal
Puerto Juárez may be a small fishing village, but within its territory you can find one of the most important maritime terminals in the region and which is called: Puerto Juárez Maritime Terminal.
This terminal is the only one in the city that starts its operations of departure of all types of boats from 5 am and whose destination is Isla Mujeres and likewise, it is the only one that receives ferries coming from Isla Mujeres from very early hours of the day.
In addition, from this terminal you can take the tours of the tourist line and entertainment of Captain Hook and from where you can have the opportunity to board one of the replicas of Spanish galleons and even take a day tour to Isla Mujeres, rent a yacht or take a pass on a boat in the Caribbean Sea.
But that's not all: The overseas shipping line operates within this terminal and the costs are much lower than any other terminal in the city.
What is the cost / price of the ferry to Isla Mujeres?
The prices for visitors in the state are 231.00 MXN single trip for adult and 462.00 MXN round trip for adult and 179.oo MXN single trip for child and 352.00 MXN round trip for child.
